How a visit works

Seen at home, and tested at home when testing is recommended.

  • Appointments are by video

Your child is seen where they are, on your schedule. Licensure follows the state your child is physically located in at the time of the visit, not where you live or where the physician sits.4

  • If testing is recommended, it ships to you

If your physician recommends sequencing or an at-home EEG, the kit or equipment comes to the house. Nothing about the evaluation requires a hospital visit.2

  • No referral, no prior authorization

You can request an appointment directly. Sunstone is a direct-to-consumer offering and is not part of your health plan benefit.1
